Precinct Caucuses

Precinct caucuses are the beginning of the process that Minnesota's major political parties use to choose candidates and define platforms they will endorse in the next election. The caucuses are conducted at 7:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of March in even numbered years. All eligible voters may attend and participate in their precinct caucuses. However, no voter may vote or participate in more than one party's caucus in one year. For caucus locations, contact Dakota County Elections at (651) 438-4576 access the County Services section of the Dakota County website at www.co.dakota.mn.us.
